Family Sayings Sunday - Stretching a mile

Well, here I am with another Family Saying.

I don't know if you have ever had one of those experiences where you are stretching and it feels so good to be stretching and if you could just keep stretching. Well, my father usually would say this saying after or during one of those stretches.
"I'd stretch a mile if I didn't have to walk back."
Has anyone else ever heard this saying?

Hope you enjoyed, glad you stopped by and please come back again ;)

  1. No, I've never heard that saying but it's a great one. I didn't grow up in a family of stretchers. I don't remember seeing anyone in my family stretch. Odd, huh?

Nancy, I do have to admit that is a teensy bit odd. How did they know when they were tired? Thanks for responding.
