I don't know if you have ever had one of those experiences where you are stretching and it feels so good to be stretching and if you could just keep stretching. Well, my father usually would say this saying after or during one of those stretches.
"I'd stretch a mile if I didn't have to walk back."Has anyone else ever heard this saying?
Hope you enjoyed, glad you stopped by and please come back again ;)
No, I've never heard that saying but it's a great one. I didn't grow up in a family of stretchers. I don't remember seeing anyone in my family stretch. Odd, huh?
ReplyDeleteI never know about this and you have shared such a wonderful article. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy late husband used to say this, and I just thought of it so decided to google it. Thanks for the memory--Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys I was beginning to think that I was talking to myself. Although come to think of it I have had some of my best conversations with myself! hee!hee!
ReplyDeleteNancy, I do have to admit that is a teensy bit odd. How did they know when they were tired? Thanks for responding.
My mother always said it and now I do and I was just trying to find out the origin!
